Greenfield Towers consits of four main types of Self-Supporting Towers; Angular, Tubular, Monopoles and Hybrid Towers. Hybrid towers usually consist of tubular main legs with angular bracings. Our Self-Supporting Towers are suitable for practically all communication applications, however most ideal for rural areas where space requirements are limited. We produce both 3- and 4-legged towers and anything from 15m to 150m. All our tower types are hot-dip galvanized after fabrication to guarantee years of corrosion-free use.

Rooftop towers are usually installed in dense populated areas and where tall buildings can handle antenna weights. The rooftops requires less space than both Self-Support Towers and especially Guyed Masts. Although rooftops can be installed with guyed masts, they are normally from 2m up to 15m of height. Our Rooftops are also like the other type of towers custom designed to ensure the clients requirements. The rooftops are mostly designed with angular steel basis structure and high quality guy lines, or self-supporting tubes. The Rooftops can be casted into cement or they can be build straight on the roof of a building on just a steel structure that holds the rooftop perfectly still.

Opposed to Self-Support Towers, Guyed Masts generally needs more space, however the steel structure itself is usually thinner, therefore lighter and also quite often taller than Self-Support Towers. The Guyed Mast itself has the compressive strength to support its own weight, however, typically does not have the shear strength to stand unsupported, and needs guy lines, diagonal tensioned cables attached to the ground, usually spread out at equal angles about its base, to resist lateral forces such as wind loads and keep it upright.
